One of the saddest things happened during a recent visit to Children’s Church. I was attending with my grandson who, because he lives out-of-town and isn’t a regular, requires the support of his grandmother. One of the older girls, maybe 11 years old, sat next to me and, after chatting, told me that she wished she could hear God talking to her. Under the circumstances there was little I could to do to help her.

God wants to talk with you. It is His desire. And He isn’t counting your sin against you. How do I know that you may be asking. Because He sought out Adam and Eve. He sought out Cain, and it was Cain who walked away. Not God. And there is this:
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19
