She wasn’t seeking them. She wasn’t expecting them.
But the Lord revealed what they were doing there.
These beings were waiting for the next funeral, treating the chapel like a demonic refueling station.
Why?
Because intense grief, despair, anger, and hopelessness provide emotional energy the enemy feeds on before moving on to their next assignment.
A Nighttime Encounter at Home
Later that same night, Susan’s teaching moment continued.
The Lord woke her suddenly, and she became aware of a larger demonic presence in the hallway outside her bedroom. She sensed it had come to intimidate her—attempting to punish her for seeing the truth about the funeral home.
But here’s the key:
It couldn’t enter the bedroom. It couldn’t touch her. And it couldn’t scare her.
Susan felt complete safe because the presence of the Lord was stronger than anything the enemy tried.
As she watched it moving up and down the hallway, something unexpected began to happen.
When the Enemy Can’t Feed, It Grows Weaker
The demonic presence began to shrink.
Its form diminished.
Its strength drained away.
Why?
Because no one in the home was responding emotionally.
There was no fear… no panic… no anger… no spiritual agreement.
Nothing for the enemy to feed on.
The demon had no choice but to leave.
It simply ran out of fuel.
A Critical Lesson for Every Believer
This encounter illustrates something Susan teaches throughout the series:
✨ Demons cannot control your home, your mind, or your emotions unless you give them something to feed on.
✨ Fear empowers the enemy—peace disarms him.
✨ When you refuse to emotionally react, the enemy becomes weaker and eventually flees.
