Cleansing the Land
My friend, Linda and her husband Jim, are the kindest people I know. They own a small farm and often allow people who need a temporary refuge to lodge on their land. Recently, they helped a woman in need move her tiny home onto their land. Sadly, things did not work out. Actually, things went pretty badly and the person moved, leaving the tiny house behind. My friends had no need for a tiny house and really could not afford to buy it, but they reached deep into their pockets and purchased the home.
Then one of their grandsons asked if he could move into the house. Because there had been so much upset, Linda asked me to help her cleanse it from any spiritual defilement and negative emotions. As we walked through the house, the Lord helped us discern an overflow of sadness and despair. He suggested that we forgive the previous owner. We did and as we did, both of us felt His compassion bubble up.
We continued to bless the house, instructing the angels to remove anything negative and to fill it with the glory of God. Then the Lord showed us that the house was always meant to be a blessing. He called it the tiny house of blessing. Joy began to overflow as He returned the house to its original purpose, to be a refuge, a holy sanctuary, a blessing to all who enter its doors.
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it … Psalm 24:1
God bless,
Susan
