I Can Leap Over A Wall

All things have become possible

I complained to my website manager that my blogs were not getting the attention that I hoped for. She said it was my fault for publishing them so inconsistently and that I needed to published them at least once a week on the same day.

That means that I have to write one every week and, to be honest, I felt the pressure to produce interesting and helpful content on a regular basis. In my defense, I have a demanding personal life that takes much of my time and attention. But she is right. I need to be consistent.

So, I looked into my files and unearthed years of blog articles that I could freshen up and republish. That gave me some breathing room to finish the book I was writing. Just when I finished the book and put it in the hands of a potential publisher, I ran out of previously written articles.

I was a little panicked and ran to the Lord asking for help. He reminded me that His creativity is infinite and began to prove it by flooding my mind with ideas for new articles. This is one of those ideas. So far, I have written five new articles – six including this one – and have six more ideas on my list. He even woke me up at night and suggested that I write the Stuck In The Mud article that predates this.

Many years ago, while walking in my neighborhood, a portion of Psalm 18 began to bubble up, set to a little tune. It went like this

I can run upon a troop. I can leap over a wall.

All things have become possible because the Lord He is my God.

I don’t remember what was going on in my life at the time. Some challenge or the other, no doubt. I just want to encourage you if you are facing a challenge. God’s creative solutions are infinite. He is never going to run out of ideas. And He is generous with His help. If you are feeling a little panicked, please run to Him for help.

For by You I can run upon a troop;

And by my God I can leap over a wall. Psalm 18:29

God bless,

Susan
