My newest book is finally here—and what does Amazon do? It slaps a “Temporarily out of stock” label on it that worries everyone. Rest assured: the book is very much in print and ready to ship right now.
Here’s the simple explanation. Amour Books is a small Christian publishing company in Australia. Like many non-U.S. publishers, they partner with a US-based printer so books can be produced quickly and affordably in America. When you order The Tribal Heart from Amazon or Barnes & Noble, your copy is printed fresh and shipped directly to you—usually arriving in 3–10 days.
Amazon treats books like mine as third-party supplied and doesn’t pre-stock them in warehouses unless sales volume justifies it. Because Amazon customers expect lightning-fast delivery, Amazon defaults to cautious labels like “Temporarily out of stock” to manage expectations. (Barnes & Noble uses the same print-on-demand system but doesn’t add the confusing label, so it shows normal delivery dates.)
I hope this clears up any confusion so you can confidently order The Tribal Heart from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or your favorite bookseller.
If the book has blessed or challenged you, I’d be so grateful for a quick review on Amazon—it truly helps others discover it. Feel free to send any negative feedback straight to me instead 🙂
Questions? Just ask!
May God bless and keep you,
Susan
